Backpacking with a Wilderness Group to the Limited Obsidian Area, Willamette National Forest

Friends of the Central Cascades Wilderness partners with the Forest Service and is one of the few volunteer organizations that gets to backpack in Wilderness within the Deschutes and Willamette National Forests! They replace trail-junction signs, close social trails, and restore campsites all within Wilderness!! There's something really special and unique about giving back to our National Forests. It's pretty satisfying seeing that all the amazing work you did makes a lasting impact and will enable countless visitors to explore and enjoy the Wilderness for years to come!
